277 purebred foals -- last foal crop born in 1971Abu Farwa was a chestnut (no roaning) with a wide blaze encompassing most of his muzzle including the lower lips. Markings also include a left fore stocking. Majority of his foals were chestnut; some with lots of "chrome" (white markings). His sons were his "gift" to the domestic-bred American Arabian. He is considered one of the all-time greats of the American Arabian.
